Pricing Structure
Quote-Based Project Pricing
What Quotes Include
Quotes are prepared after scoping and may include consultation, design, development, content support, integrations, testing, launch support, maintenance, and third-party costs.
How Prices Are Set
Project pricing depends on scope, number of pages, complexity, timeline, required integrations, content needs, and ongoing support requirements.
Before Work Starts
Clients receive a written quote or invoice confirming scope, deliverables, payment milestones, exclusions, and expected timeline before any paid project work begins.
Payment Terms
- A written quote or invoice is issued before work begins. Project work normally starts once the client accepts the quote and pays the agreed deposit.
- Unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing, website projects are billed as a 50% deposit before work starts and a 50% balance before final handover or launch.
- Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, paid plugins, stock assets, and payment gateway fees may be charged separately or passed through at cost.
- Quoted prices are valid for 14 days and may change if the project scope, requirements, timeline, or third-party costs change.
Refund Policy
- Clients may request a refund by emailing info@tinotech.co.za with the project name, invoice number, and reason for the request.
- Deposits are refundable only before project work has started, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already paid on the client's behalf.
- Once design, development, consultation, content work, or setup has started, fees for completed work and committed third-party costs are not refundable.
- If tinotech cannot deliver the agreed scope for reasons within its control, the client may receive a partial refund for paid work that has not yet been performed.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible, usually within 7 to 10 business days after written approval.
Cancellation Policy
- Clients may cancel a project by giving written notice to info@tinotech.co.za.
- If cancellation happens before work starts, the deposit may be refunded less any non-recoverable third-party costs.
- If cancellation happens after work starts, tinotech will issue a close-out statement showing completed work, work in progress, and third-party costs. Any unpaid amount for completed work remains payable.
- Recurring maintenance or support services may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
- Domain registrations, hosting renewals, software subscriptions, and similar third-party charges are subject to the provider's own cancellation rules and may be non-refundable.
Disputes and Resolution
- If a client is unhappy with the service, tinotech first works with the client to understand the concern and agree on practical corrective steps.
- Where the concern relates to agreed project scope, tinotech may correct defects or omissions at no additional charge during the review period stated in the quote or handover communication.
- Requests outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before extra work begins.
- If the client still wishes to cancel or request a refund, the request is reviewed against the accepted quote, project records, completed work, and third-party costs.
- tinotech aims to respond to disputes within 3 business days and to resolve them in good faith through written communication before either party considers external remedies.
Terms of Service
- tinotech provides website design, website development, maintenance, technical support, and related digital services.
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, content, approvals, brand assets, and access credentials needed to complete the work.
- Project timelines depend on timely feedback, approvals, content delivery, and third-party provider availability.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, intellectual property in the final deliverables transfers to the client after full payment. tinotech may reuse general know-how, tools, frameworks, and non-confidential techniques.
- tinotech is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, platform outages, search ranking changes, or third-party service failures outside its reasonable control.
- tinotech may suspend work or delivery if invoices are overdue, required information is withheld, or project requirements materially change without an updated agreement.
